关于狗狗牙菌斑的防护，还有哪些是需要注意的？

为什么要进行狗狗的牙齿护理？
有研究发现，3岁以上的狗狗里面大约有85%都会患严重的牙周疾病，如果不加以控制，牙周疾病最终可能会给狗狗带来严重的健康问题，甚至是缩短寿命。
患有牙周疾病通常会引起狗狗蛀牙、感染，并且随着时间的推移失去牙齿。这种疾病还会影响身体的重要器官，包括心脏和肾脏，所以牙齿护理对狗狗的健康至关重要。
想要避免此类问题的最佳方法就是前期进行预防性护理，减少狗狗因为牙菌斑清理不及时造成牙垢堆积而引起的一系列牙周问题。
为什么不能用人用的洁牙器去除狗狗牙菌斑？狗狗专用的洁牙器能不能用？
不管是人用的洁牙器还是狗狗专用的洁牙器，都能一定程度上去除一些狗狗的牙菌斑，但是这样做会存在3个问题：
仅能去除牙龈线上可见的牙菌斑，那些隐藏在牙龈线里面的牙菌斑依然可能导致牙周问题。
在家自己用洁牙器给狗狗处理，也就意味着没有麻药。狗狗在有意识的状态下，可能不配合清洁，难以达到清洁效果。并且如果狗狗突然移动，锋利的器械可能会割伤它的牙龈，导致疼痛和出血。
在牙釉质上使用任何器械都会在表面造成微小划痕，破坏牙齿表面，导致进一步的其他牙周疾病。
所以并不建议宠主自行使用洁牙器清洁狗狗的牙齿。
